American voters strongly believe that the U.S. is heading towards another Cold War with Russia, but voters surveyed by Rasmussen Reports “appear less concerned about the worsening relations between the two countries than they have been in recent years.”
Rasmussen’s daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Thursday showed that “48 percent of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Fifty-two percent (52 percent) disapprove.”
These figures include “29 percent who Strongly Approve of the way Trump is performing and 42 percent who Strongly Disapprove,” giving Trump a Presidential Approval Index rating of -13.
According to Trump, our nation’s relationship with Russia has hit “an all-time low.”
However, his relationship with Democrats is not much better. According to the survey, 61 percent of Democrats agree with DNC Chairman Tom Perez, who recently said that Trump is “not the legitimately elected president.”
Most Republicans surveyed (61 percent) said that Hillary Clinton lost the election because she “was a weak candidate,” but nearly just as many Democrats (63 percent) are blaming other factors, such as James Comey and Russian “hacking.”
