Sexual harassment and misconduct allegations are making headlines at a rapid pace. Accusers are stepping forward to tell their stories without fear.
On Monday, a second accuser of Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.) stepped forward. How long will it be until he resigns?
Next, it was a NY Times writer in trouble for wrongdoing. Then, the big headline hit: “Eight women say longtime TV host Charlie Rose sexually harassed them — with nudity, groping and lewd calls.”
Rose has a uniquely broad empire, but instantly lost control: PBS and Bloomberg immediately suspended distribution of his shows, and CBS suspended him as morning co-anchor. His 6 p.m. airing on Bloomberg TV was replaced by “Daybreak Asia.”
When sexual harassment allegations of any kind surface, it grabs major headlines. Although the Left tried and failed to bring down Trump in 2016 with an army of women who claimed he groped them in one way or another, will they try it again now that he is president?
