Megyn Kelly has a new job at NBC, and according to a leaked audio tape, she says there are more resources at NBC than at FOX. According to Kelly, these resources help her put together truthful, long form interviews such as the one she solicited from Alex Jones.
Kelly and NBC are getting tons of criticism from liberals who are outraged over the network’s decision to give Jones a mainstream platform. They claim Jones is a conspiracy theory act who reports ridiculous stories like: “Sandy Hook was a hoax.”
Meanwhile, Jones is calling for the program not to air on Father’s Day because the promo clips are edited, and therefore they do not represent the true interview. Jones is claiming he secretly recorded his time with Kelly before, during and after the interview.
NBC says they are moving forward with airing the program. Not a bad move considering Kelly could use the ratings pop. Her new show has been a ratings flop in its first two airings. The premier grabbed far less viewers than a rerun of ’60-Minutes’ (CBS) which aired at the same time as Kelly. Her second show did even worse, viewership was down by 33%.
