POLL: Will You Be Watching the Super Bowl Today Despite NFL Players’ Conduct?

NFL viewership fell in just about every demographic and geographic area this season.

Viewership in the Northeast, bearing the largest population of six Nielsen-measured precincts, dropped by 12% from last season, while the nationwide drop in viewership was calculated at 8%.

Season 2016 found NFL players across many teams joining in the trend of sitting or kneeling during the national anthem, with some raising black-gloved fists to protest perceived systemic racism in America, police violence, and the election of Donald Trump.

While explanations for the overall drop in ratings run the gamut, one online poll indicated that roughly 33% of Americans (1 in 3) attributed their refrain from watching football in 2016 to player conduct, or “other.”

Please take our poll – We’d like to know how you are responding to this controversy!

Will you be watching Super Bowl LI today, or have you boycotted the NFL because of the manner in which NFL players disrespected the national anthem this year? If you do watch, who do you think will win?
