President Trump holds meeting on new health care plan

President Trump on Tuesday announced his support for the House’s plan to repeal and replace “ObamaCare.”

“I’m proud to support the replacement plan released by the House of Representatives,” he said after meeting at the White House with nearly two dozen House Republicans. “I think it’s going to go very quickly.”

The repeal plan aims to keep costs low, expand access to insurance plans and will let Americans choose their doctor.

President Trump called it “good healthcare.”

According to an article in The Hill on Tuesday, “Republicans will likely need Trump to use his bully pulpit to ram the legislation through the lower chamber, which is deeply divided over the plan.”
