Donald Trump may be pointing his finger at Democrats in Congress for the failed Obamacare repeal and replacement, but his chief of staff is putting more of the blame on his own side of the aisle.
Reince Priebus made an appearance on “Fox News Sunday” this morning and spoke about the vote being pulled after it was determined there would not be enough support for the bill to pass.
“At the end of the day, it’s time for the [Republican] party to start governing,” Priebus told host Chris Wallace. “I also think, though, that Democrats can come to the table, as well.”
On Friday, the president said, “We have no Democratic support. We have no votes from them. They weren’t going to give us a single vote.”
Priebus also said that Trump was correct in his Twitter post blaming some of the Republican groups for the missed opportunity to accomplish one of his campaign promises.
Democrats are smiling in D.C. that the Freedom Caucus, with the help of Club For Growth and Heritage, have saved Planned Parenthood & Ocare!
