Private plane crashes into Georgia house; pilot killed

GEORGIA — On Friday evening, a small passenger jet crashed into a house located in a residential area only miles outside of Cobb County International Airport.

A neighbor who witnessed the crash, said, “I look up and I see a plane — I don’t hear it, I just see it at first, and I see it do a spin,” said Hunter Scoggins. “We just all covered our ears because we thought it would be loud.”

The pilot of the plane, who flying into Fulton County Airport from Delaware, was pronounced dead at the scene.  The residents of the house where the plane crashed were away at the time of the accident.

Bystanders recorded the ensuing smoke rising above the wreckage. See video below:
