Pro-Life Movement Depends on Repealing Obamacare

The sooner Obamacare is repealed, the sooner the process of defunding Planned Parenthood begins; and for the pro-life movement, this is number one on their agenda.

But many conservatives are concerned that the longer the repeal is delayed, the less likely the change will occur.

According to The Daily Signal, Republican Senators Susan Collins and Bill Cassidy introduced a bill that could not only keep certain portions of Obamacare in place, but may also be more “pro-choice” than current Obamacare altogether. The report said Speaker Paul Ryan, also mentioned recently the “delay” of Obamacare repeal until spring or summer.

The Daily Signal reports delaying the repeal gives Congress more time to defend the Affordable Care Act and less time to be considered for reconciliation. Without the repeal going through the reconciliation process, the Daily Signal reports, it is unlikely to pass.

Hundreds of thousands of women and men attended the Women’s Pro-Life March on Saturday. If Obamacare is not repealed sooner than later, the reality is the pro-life goal will be in jeopardy.
