Pro MMA fighter killed in home invasion

On Tuesday, Aaron Rajman, a teammate of many UFC superstars at the American Top Team (ATT) gym was murdered during a home invasion in Boca Raton, Florida.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office say several men got into a disagreement with Rajman after entering the fighter’s house Monday night. At least one shot before the men were seen fleeing the scene. Rajman, who recently turned 25, passed away the very next day.

As of now there are no motives or suspects in the case, detectives are treating this as a homicide.

Rajman was known for being one of the few orthodox Jews in MMA. He regularly talked about his religion publicly-  though it’s uncertain if he was targeted for that specific reason.

A local fight promoter says Rajman’s teammates at ATT are in complete disbelief.

UFC champions Amanda Nunes and Joanna Jedrzejczyk, as well as former heavyweight champ Junior dos Santos, are just some of the gym’s higher-profile members.
