America First Policies, a pro-Trump nonprofit group, is looking to back a dozen House Republicans who publicly supported the healthcare proposal by launching a $3 million advocacy campaign.
Starting on Monday, the ad campaign will include broadcast, digital and social components. It will use the hashtag “#ROC,” which stands for “Repeal Obamacare Caucus.”
America First Policies is made up of campaign veterans, including Katie Walsh, Trump’s former deputy chief of staff who now serves as a senior adviser to America First Policies; GOP strategist Nick Ayers; and Brad Parscale, who ran digital operations for the Trump campaign.
Television and web ads titled “Repeal Now” applaud House Republicans who supported the GOP healthcare proposal for “taking on Nancy Pelosi” and “standing with President Trump to repeal Obamacare now.”
“We’re starting positive, but all options are on the table,” according to one adviser.
