Liberal globalist billionaire George Soros is well-known for funding liberal causes, but hacked Soros documents recently exposed by Wikileaks give greater insight to the motives behind the funding.
As one of Planned Parenthood’s largest donors, George Soros’ Open Society Foundation came to the rescue with a special $1.5 million “damage control” donation when undercover videos exposed the organization’s appalling practice of selling aborted baby parts.
Included in the thousands of hacked Soros files made public by “DCLeaks” on August 13 was this document titled, “Urgent Response in Defense of Women’s Health – Planned Parenthood Action Fund,” showing the amount requested as $1,500,000.
Soros’ organization summarized that “over the last three weeks, Planned Parenthood has come under attack from anti-abortion extremists who have spent years laying the groundwork for a sophisticated smear campaign aimed at discrediting the organization and cutting off the public funding it currently receives.”
The further sounded the alarm about the undercover videos, claiming the Planned Parenthood doctors and clinicians had been tricked by an extremist organization who was connected to clinic bombings and the murder of Dr. George Tiller, and “deceptively edited videos” were threatening organization’s federal funding.
They were concerned that more videos may be forthcoming.
The document summarizes the purpose of the $1.5 million emergency donation to Planned Parenthood:
“This $1.5 million grant provided an infusion of 501(c)(4) funding to Planned Parenthood Action Fund (PPAF) as they were waging a critical defense against attacks to the reputation and credibility of Planned Parenthood and potential loss of federal funding. This emergency funding enabled PPAF to implement its multipronged Fight Back Campaign to mobilize grassroots and grassroots supporters and lobby Congress to counter attempts to defund Planned Parenthood at the federal and state levels, and to continue providing critical reproductive health care services across the country.”
“Planned Parenthood is mounting a vigorous defense, supported by a $1.5m OSPC grant, in the face of four Congressional investigations and a cyber-attack that closed its website … which required the hiring of security for many of its doctors, and otherwise distracted it from its core mission.”
