According to multiple reports, an anti-Trump protester suffered slight burns outside Trump International Hotel in Washington DC on Tuesday night after he tried to set himself on fire.
The protester told News4’s Shomari Stone it was an act of protest over the election of Donald Trump. “We need a president who will uphold the Constitution,” said the protester.
Police said they responded to a report of a person “in distress.” D.C.
The man has not been identified. There is no word on his condition or whether charges will be brought against him.
