Pumpkin depicting Robert Mueller placed on Paul Manafort’s doorstep

One woman had an indelicately humorous Halloween present for former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort this week, placing a pumpkin carved in the likeness of special counsel Robert Mueller on the doorstep of his Brooklyn townhouse.

Amy Finkel posted a photo of her work on Instagram on Wednesday, calling the property “the house that helped Mueller bring him down,” as the house was one of the assets noted in former Trump Campaign Chair Manafort’s indictment.

“I carved a Robert Mueller pumpkin this Halloween,” Finkel writes. “I was going to throw it out downstairs last night, but then I had a better idea. It’s now resting peacefully outside Paul Manafort’s Brooklyn brownstone—the house that helped Mueller bring him down. Like Manafort, my pumpkin is now rotten.”

Charges were made this week against Manafort in Mueller’s probe of whether the Trump campaign colluded with Russia during the election. In charges released Monday, Manafort is accused of laundering more than $18 million, $3 million of which went to the purchase of the Brooklyn brownstone.
