Following the highly anticipated release of the Senate’s draft of the Obamacare replacement bill, Rand Paul says he will not vote for the bill as currently constituted.

Paul (R-Kentucky) heads a group of four key GOP Senators claiming they cannot vote for the bill, including Ted Cruz of Texas, Ron Johnson from Wisconsin and Mike Lee of Utah.

Expecting no cooperation from the other side of the aisle, the GOP won’t have the votes it needs if the four Senators’ actions match their words. They can only afford 2 of their 52 Senator majority to dissent.

While the four Senators claim there are provisions in the bill they like, it doesn’t fully accomplish what they promised their constituents: “to repeal Obamacare and lower health care costs.”
