In a recent interview, a well-known rapper out of Baton Rouge who goes by the stage name, “Boosie BadAzz,” held nothing back when blasting television networks for “trying to make children gay for monetary gain.”
“They are trying to make everyone all f***ing gay. That’s what I think,” Boosie told DJ Vlad in the interview posted on Youtube. “They’re putting it on our culture. They’re putting it on… they’re putting it everywhere. Gay stuff is everywhere and I think they’re doing it just trying to do it to make monetary gain. They’re not doing it for the gays.”
The rapper suggested that half of the population will soon be gay thanks to television.
“They got gays on cartoons now. They are pushing gays on kids who are 5-years old. Their minds aren’t even developed yet.” He continued, “You’re forcing them to be gay. And they’re doing it for monetary gains — they’re just looking for another avenue to make money.”
The rapper referenced shows from when he was a kid, “It was not like that when I was coming up. The Ninja Turtles wasn’t kissing. The Flinstones wasn’t kissing.”
The annual GLAAD study on television for the 2015-16 season found that 35 of the 881 regular characters on broadcast television shows were LGBT characters. The number jumped significantly on cable, where 84 LGBT characters were found.
