I often forget that the majority of the one million people who follow me on social media have been with me for only a few months. Fact is, I first started in the “world of news and politics” in 2010.
Tonight, I received the message below. I receive so many like it but I never respond. Tonight, I finally said, “Screw it. Just post it once and for all and just send people the link.” LOL.
DML- I have been following you since about two weeks before the election. A friend told me that you were reporting that Donald Trump was going to win the election. I was feeling pretty pessimistic and needed a positive report. I thought, although you must be crazy, I would much rather listen to a crazy guy that thought DT was going to win than listen to all the networks saying Mr. Trump had no chance. I have not stopped listening to you since then. I guess I would still be considered a “new listener”. Who are you DML?? How did you get to be so knowledgeable about so many things? I know you spoke last week about how you got into filming your documentaries on immigration. I was really excited to hear you talk a little about that experience . I would love to know more!! I have ordered the first of your video’s and can’t wait to watch it! Thanks for all you are doing and for explaining things so well.
I love what you are doing and I hope to make a donation soon. I want to feel like I am a part of this great thing you are doing! Thanks so much, Melanie Maxwell —
Instead of watching the Oscars, maybe you’ll watch the videos below.
After countless appearances on Fox News, specifically, The Kelly File, thousands of people who had watched my films and listened to my commentary asked me to explore running for president. So you wonder how I knew Trump would win? He was saying the same things I said a year earlier — in some cases it seemed like he was word for word.
Having traveled the country like I did before the other potential candidates even thought about running, I got to see the reaction on people’s faces when they heard my message for America. That’s why I knew Trump was a sure win. His message resinated in way I had seen first hand.
There are three videos below. The first video is of my lovely wife Mary. She spoke at an event held for me in Arizona in 2014. The second is my 2016 speech given on the same evening. If you can only watch one, watch Mary’s video. It says it all, I think. Including, “make America great again.”
Bottom line, long before Trump announced his presidency, there was a guy thinking about running for president and using the term “Make America Great Again.” There was a guy stating the problems with immigration when nobody else would touch the topic on Fox News. The guy was yours truly. (side note: That’s not my attempt to take credit for Trump’s message.)
The last video is my last night at NewsmaxTV. After I decided not to run for office, NewsmaxTV asked me to host a nightly show on their network. They fired me one night in early August while I was live on air — the video tells the story.
NOTE: I’ve had Mary’s speech set to private for more than two years. I changed it this evening to “public” so I can respond to this email and the many I receive like it, but have never answered until now.
