Saudi Arabia has “rehabilitation” center for terrorists, called the Prince Mohammed bin Naif Counseling and Care Center. Despite its claimed objective to de-radicalize jihadists, many counterterrorism experts believe the rehab center is doing a poor job. The experts are not only just right about their suspicions, but it also turns out the center is recruiting and training facility for jihadist terrorists.
Guantanamo Bay detainee Ghassan Abdullah al-Sharbi, a former Saudi al-Qaeda operative, revealed to his parole board that the Saudi government has been enabling former prisoners to rejoin the jihadist movement at its terrorist reform school. The Saudi reform center, supported by the Obama administration, provides swimming pools, ping-pong, PlayStation, soccer fields, and “art therapy” to de-radicalize the terrorist “patients.”
Some of the patients are notorious individuals, such as some being the former bodyguards to Osama bin Laden. The Obama administration has granted Gitmo prisoners access and enrollment into the reformation center. However, Al-Sharbi’s revelation of the reform center’s true intentions makes Obama and his department look like total suckers.
“You guys want to send me back to Saudi Arabia because you believe there is a de-radicalization program on the surface,” said Al-Sharbi. “True. You are 100 percent right, there is a strong — externally, a strong — de-radicalization program. But make no mistake, underneath there is a hidden radicalization program. There is a very hidden strong — way stronger in magnitude — broader in financing, in all that.”
Al-Sharbi then told the board he doesn’t want to enroll in the faux Saudi rehab program, because he would be used to “fight under the Saudi royal cloak.”
“This is in the cause of a king. This is not a true jihad,” he adds. “And I’m not going to Saudi unless I am sure they’re not gonna be using me.”
