Rep. King declares war on political correctness

Rep. Peter King (R-NY) has no more patience for political correctness following another radical Islamic terrorist attack in London this past weekend.

King, a member of the House Homeland Security Committee and chairman of the House Counterterrorism and Intelligence Subcommittee, spoke strongly Monday on “America’s Newsroom” with Shannon Bream, praising President Trump and British Prime Minister Theresa May for how they referred to the attacks publicly.

“It’s time to put political correctness aside,” King said. “That’s why I was so pleased yesterday when Prime Minister May used the term ‘Islamic extremism.’ She used the word ‘Islamist,’ because that’s where the threat is coming from.”
