LAREDO,Texas (KGNS)- The controversial wire set up along the border by US soldiers weeks ago will be coming down soon.
In a statement sent out by Representative Henry Cuellar, he says he had spoken with Manny Padilla the director of the Joint Task Force-West, who informed him that they will be removing the wire.

The wire had originally been installed in an attempt to slow down members of the migrant caravan at the border.
