A bruising battle over the court’s latest appointee and a recent health scare involving the oldest justice has renewed interest in the age-old debate over whether there should be term limits for the Supreme Court.

It’s an idea that’s been floated before, but senators on both sides of the aisle now say it’s one that’s worth discussing in public.

The article goes on to state the following:

“I would sure love to have the debate,” Sen. John Kennedy (R-La.), 67, told The Hill last week. “I don’t know exactly how I would come down, but it’s certainly worth talking about.”

    • Term limits, all in (and have supported Convention of States for years), but I don’t believe in age discrimination. I understand where you are coming from with the likes of many of the oldsters in Congress now, but many of them wouldn’t be there if there were term limits. On the flip side if you look at some of the socialist bs out there with the young (and old), there still is a place for the ‘older’ generations that represent America of yesteryear and the importance of our Constitution!

  1. There should be term limits in ALL three branches of this cockeyed government. And the termination of people who watch porn on the taxpayers dime should be automatic!…
