Three filmmakers were busted for having a prop gun that looked so real it spooked residents of the building where they were shooting, police and sources said Monday.

The movie-making trio — Danielle Ferrier, 26, Julia Bostrom, 30, and Jack Gilliat, 22 — found themselves in the middle of a real-life crime drama inside an Upper West Side apartment, where they were filming the flick at 1:55 p.m. Sunday, according to the source.

The article goes on to state the following:

A resident of the building, on West 99th Street and Amsterdam Avenue, called police after he spotted one of the actors shouting and running through a hallway with the gun, police said.

“It’s a prop!” Ferrier, who lives in the building, insisted — to no avail, police said. Officers charged them all with criminal possession of a firearm, pending further investigation into the incident.
