The same pollsters whose “optimized messaging” in 2014 was behind the “Gang of Eight” amnesty deal have now reportedly been hired by billionaire Mark Zuckerberg to help push support for DACA, a program intended to protect illegal aliens from deportation.

The pollsters, whose advice falsely indicated most Americans supported amnesty, ending up causing several politicians to be defeated in their reelection bids in 2014, including five defeated Democratic senators and the GOP’s House Majority Leader, Rep. Eric Cantor. It also cost Senator Marco Rubio from winning the nomination for president in 2016, as many Republican voters lost faith in his ability to keep his word. Rubio had sworn up and down that he would never support amnesty when he was running for the Senate.

Another four open seats held by retiring Democrats were also lost to Republicans, resulting in nine seats on the Democratic side, which cost Sen. Chuck Schumer the chance to be the Senate Majority Leader.

In an exclusive report by Breitbart, they note that this year, “pollsters have only persuaded credulous liberal reporters who are eager to believe that Americans welcome more crime and civic conflict,  lower wages, fewer college slots, and fewer taxpayer dollars.”

An advocacy group called FWD.us, which was formed by Zuckerberg and other billionaires to push for the right to import more foreign workers whenever Americans ask for higher wages, has hired Neil Newhouse, a pollster at Public Opinion Strategies who played a role in the 2014 “Gang of Eight” polling disaster.

Now Newhouse has come out with new polls, claiming that a whopping 78 percent of Republican voters are in favor of amnesty, and the message is being used to try to influence President Trump.

Breitbart reports:

That pro-amnesty message has been quietly delivered to Trump, who declared September 14, the day after Democrats claimed he agreed to endorse a no-wall amnesty for millions of younger illegals. “We all feel, look, 92 percent of the people agree on DACA, but what we want is very, very powerful border security,” Trump said in an impromptu press conference in Florida.

Breitbart also reveals what really happened in 2014:

Zuckerberg’s lobby group, FWD.us, paid Newhouse and the other pollsters to execute a 2014 poll which was drafted to maximize the apparent public supported for the amnesty, and then paid the pollsters to tout the poll at a June 11 press conference.

On September 4, Newhouse tweeted out an image from one of his surveys, trying to convince Americans that amnesty is not expensive, and claiming there is huge support for it.

FWD.us put out a letter with their amnesty-pushing message on June 12, stating:

Americans across the board support a pathway to citizenship. There is majority support, across party lines for an immigration proposal that allows undocumented immigrants who have passed a background check to earn legal status and eventually citizenship over a number of years. This proposal wins two-thirds support from Republicans.

The “optimized messaging” is that if they convince Americans they already want it, they will.

Todd Schulte, the head of Zuckerberg’s FWD.us advocacy group, went on a Twitter rampage last week, touting all the reasons why the Dream Act must be passed:
