Pro-ISIS internet channels have called for the assassination of President Donald Trump’s youngest son, Barron. According to The Washington Free Beacon, the sites have shared “personal details of the child’s life” on social media, including the address of his school.
The Beacon reports:
ISIS supporters, on a well-known Telegram channel, shared the name and address of Barron Trump’s school and are calling for backers of the terrorist organization to assassinate him, according to the Middle East Media Research Institute, or MEMRI.
The initial message, sent on Nov. 21 by an ISIS supporter on Telegram, “called for the assassination of Barron Trump, and shared the name of the school that Barron attends along with a Google map pinpointing its location,” according to MEMRI, which shares images of [the] messages with reporters.
The supporter uses the name “Dak Al-Munafiqeen,” which means “striking the hypocrites” in Arabic. The report says he is adopting the hashtag “handle the son of the mule of America.”
Dak Al-Munafiqeen reportedly wrote: “Barron Trump goes to this school in Washington.” MEMRI says the post was followed by a photo of Barron.
“To widely disseminate the call for assassination, several pro-ISIS Telegram channels have shared and forwarded the post,” MEMRI reports.
Barron, who just participated in the tradition of receiving the official White House Christmas tree with his mother, Melania Trump, is 11 years old. While he was rarely seen during the 2016 election, making a total of three public appearances on the campaign trail, he has increasingly appeared beside his parents at major events, such as his father’s inauguration ceremony in January 2017.
