WASHINGTON (AP) — The Latest on the legal challenge to the White House’s decision to strip CNN reporter Jim Acosta of his White House press credentials (all times local):

1:15 p.m. – A federal judge has delayed until Friday a ruling on whether the Trump administration has to return the White House press credentials of CNN reporter Jim Acosta.

The article goes on to state the following:

U.S. District Court Judge Timothy Kelly isn’t offering any explanation for delaying a ruling that had been expected Thursday afternoon. He’s set a court date for 10 a.m. Friday.

Kelly is a Trump appointee who heard arguments Wednesday from lawyers representing CNN and the Justice Department.

  1. If that man (Acosta) ever treated me like that, I guarantee I would tear him a new one. How dare he think he has more right then all else.

  2. CNN is claiming that Trump set this up to get Acosta press pass. I think that CNN set it up to give President Trump a bad rap!

  3. Serving in the WH press corps is a privilege, not a right. A delay was not even necessary, the judge should have told CNN to take a hike. IF the judge rules against President Trump, then the President should just stop ALL press breifings and start doing a one hour per week internet broadcast answering citizens questions only and bypassing the media only. OR a one hour weekly show on FOX just answering citizens only questions.
