Controversial Arizona Republican Senate candidate Kelli Ward on Monday compared political correctness to cancer days after her former political rival Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., died after a yearlong battle with an aggressive form of the disease.

“Political correctness is like a cancer!” Ward, a physician and ex-state senator, wrote on Twitter, one day before Arizona members of the GOP go to the polls in the state’s primary elections.

The article goes on to state the following:

Ward drew ire on Saturday after she insinuated in a now-deleted Facebook comment that the McCain family timed an announcement that McCain would no longer receive treatment for glioblastoma, a type of brain cancer, to undermine her campaign.

“I think they wanted to have a particular narrative that they hope is negative to me,” Ward wrote, referring to how the McCain camp’s announcement coincided with her plans to embark on a campaign bus tour.

  1. Was not McCain’s hand involved in the Dossier creation and given his marching orders by Soros. It would be different if his actions proved he was for America’s Republic and constitution. Aside from making statements about his military service which is controversial everything he did proved to me he was an employee for the deep state.

  2. “Political correctness is like a cancer!” That is 100% correct and that is just exactly the kind of politician I will donate my money to, not the rnc, who are pushing a mcconnell flunky. If mcconnell is behind someone, that is reason enough to look elsewhere. The country does not need another flake or mccain as so called servants, I do not offer any bad will toward mccain or his family, no one should have to die the way he did, but let’s face it, he was well past his time of being useful as a servant to the people, especially to conservatives.
