A lawsuit filed on Wednesday alleges that almost 200,000 Georgia voters were wrongly removed from the voter registration list ahead of the election.

Three voter advocacy groups sued Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger (R) for the “wrongful cancellation” of 199,908 voter registrations after falsely assuming they had moved and changed their addresses. The groups call for the voters to have their registration restored ahead of the state’s Jan. 5 runoff races, which will determine which party controls the U.S. Senate.

The article goes on to state the following:

The lawsuit, filed in the Northern District of Georgia Atlanta Division, was obtained by The New York Times.

The lawsuit was filed by the Black Voters Matter Fund, the Transformative Justice Coalition and the Rainbow Push Coalition.

  1. All the lawsuits in Georgia have Stacy Abrams name all over them. We had to listen to her mouth for months after her loss for the governor’s race here. By the was her sister is a judge down here in Georgia,Obama picked. We are up for a fight here January 5th

  2. Insist on paper ballots only. No absentee allowed. Make everyone vote in person with Georgia ID…, or kiss the election goodbye.

  3. And so it begins. Just like I said many times before. If we don’t fix the system before the runoff we have will lose any hope of fixing it. It’s time for real voting identity laws..

  4. Not even illegal ballots were suppressed! In fact, the only voter suppression I’ve seen was by the Democratic Party with its lawsuits to keep the Green Party off the ballot.
