A 19-year-old Maryland man was indicted on Wednesday for threatening to murder Sens. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., and Kamala Harris, D-Calif.

Nicholas Bukoski is being charged with two counts of threatening to murder congress members and three counts of transmitting threats, according to an indictment from a U.S. District Court in D.C. According to the indictment, Buksoki “knowingly threatened to assault and murder” the two senators, and threatened to harm “March for Our Lives” activists during the March rally in D.C.

The article goes on to state the following:

The indictment was handed down in April but was not released until last week when Bukoski was arrested, Politico reports. The original indictment was secretly filed in order to conceal it from Bukoski as they investigated.
