The nearly $700,000 accounting error was the subject of a motion filed by Mueller’s team Wednesday in a federal court in Virginia.
The article goes on to state the following:
Instead of the $24,815,108 figure that had been used in Manafort’s sentencing earlier this month, the motion says he owes $25,497,487.
Due to an “arithmetical error,” Mueller’s office says Paul Manafort actually owes an additional $682K in restitution, per new filing in his EDVA case — they say he owes $25,497,487.60, as opposed to $24,815,108.74 https://t.co/UhBdD255gk pic.twitter.com/ETPDNqyHqe
