Obama-era Attorney General Eric Holder reacted to the confirmation of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court Saturday by questioning the legitimacy of the court and arguing that it needed to regain the nation’s trust.

Holder — who served as the nation’s top lawyer under former President Barack Obama from 2009 to 2015 — said the treatment of former Supreme Court nominee Merrick Garland by Senate Republicans, as well as Kavanaugh’s confirmation, meant the legitimacy of the court was in question.

The article goes on to state the following:

“With the confirmation of Kavanaugh and the process which led to it, (and the treatment of Merrick Garland), the legitimacy of the Supreme Court can justifiably be questioned,” he tweeted. “The Court must now prove – through its work – that it is worthy of the nation’s trust.”

  1. Who is he kidding? How many years did Harry Reid hold up judges in the lower courts while Bush was President? And wasn’t it Reid that changed the game when Obama was elected to fill the courts with only a simple majority. Now that it is coming back to bite them they whine. Like our former president said, elections have consequences. Deal with it. (Something democrats seem unable to do without violence and lunacy). Vote Red in November or the left will move to impeach this Justice and any other that Trump will nominate.

  2. Coming from a man that is as untrustworthy as his former employer is just laughable. He needs to step into the background and keep his mouth shut and just go back to living his life and doing whatever job he was doing.
