A powerful 7.5 magnitude earthquake struck a region in Indonesia on Friday hours after several tremblors struck the country, officials said.
The most intense quake struck the central Sulawesi region at around 6 p.m. and was centered at a depth of 6 miles about 35 miles northeast of Donggala, the U.S. Geological Survey said. The quake briefly triggered a tsunami warning.
