REPORT: “Ramadan Rage” death count released

They were calling last year’s month of Ramadan the bloodiest in recent history, but Ramadan 2017 has far surpassed last year’s slaughter as the number of jihad-related deaths this year spiked to almost four times more than last year’s killings during the same time.

According to this year’s Breitbart News count of terror incidents during the holy month of Ramadan, an estimated 1,639 people were killed by Islamic extremists, and more than 1,700 people were injured in attacks.

It’s been reported that “there were nearly 160 terror incidents in about 30 predominantly Muslim countries this year, including one jihadi attack in the United States.”

A list of the killings does not take into account soldiers killed in battles against Islamic insurgents.

A truck bomb attack allegedly carried out by the Taliban and al-Qaeda-linked Haqqani Network in Afghanistan on May 31 is being reported as the deadliest of Ramadan 2017. According to Afghan President Ashraf Ghani, at least 150 Afghani citizens were killed and more than 300 were wounded in Kabul that day.

Breitbart notes that most “Ramadan Rage 2017” victims are Muslims, including women and children. Christians who represent minority factions in some Muslim majority countries are often victimized by Islamic extremists as well.

When they get out into the Western part of the world, people of all ethnicities fall victim to jihadists, including Christians, Asians, Sunnis, Shiites, Arabs, and, of course, Jews.

London has been the target of several of this year’s Ramadan Rage assaults.

During Ramadan, Muslims traditionally abstain from eating, drinking, smoking, having sex, and other physical needs each day, from before the break of dawn until sunset.

Islamic extremists, on the other hand, take the month to mean more than personal sacrifice; they see it as a time when martyrdom and jihad are especially rewarded in paradise, resulting in a spike in terrorist attacks every year.
