As the most reliable and balanced news aggregation service on the internet, DML News offers the following information published by MIAMIHERALD.COM:

A service dog went into labor at Tampa International Airport just before she was scheduled to board her flight to Philadelphia.

Ellie — short for Eleanor Rigby — welcomed seven boys and one girl. By the 2-year-old yellow lab’s side was the proud papa, Nugget, who’s also a service dog.

The puppies were delivered by Tampa Fire Rescue, who chronicled the entire delivery on Twitter.

The article goes on to state the following:

“Ruff day for this mama at Gate F80!” posted Tampa airport officials.

Yes, the litter missed the flight. The family, puppies and all, will be driving to Philadelphia instead, about 1,000 miles.
