MIDDLETOWN, R.I. (AP) — A black man yelled at former White House press secretary Sean Spicer in a bookstore and accused Spicer of calling him a racial slur when they were students at a prep school decades ago.

Spicer was “taken aback” by the man’s “outrageous claim” and had no recollection of him or of being in school with him, his publicist said on Saturday.

The article goes on to state the following:

Spicer was at a book signing in Middletown on Friday to promote his new book reflecting on his time at the press podium for President Donald Trump.

Alex Lombard, who was standing behind a small group of people waiting in line to meet Spicer and get him to sign the book, called out Spicer’s name and said they went to Portsmouth Abbey School together. Spicer waved to him and said, “Hey. Yeah. How are you?”

Lombard, a Newport native who now lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts, then accused Spicer of calling him the N-word and trying to fight him when they were at school.

“You don’t remember that you tried to fight me?” Lombard asked. “But you called me a (N-word) first.”

A security guard approached Lombard and led him away as he kept talking: “I was 14 then. I was a scared kid then, Sean. I’m not scared to fight you now.”

The report continues:

… his publicist said [Spicer] was shocked by the allegation.

Spicer “can’t recall any incident like this happening” and was “not sure if this was just a stunt this man was pulling,” Regnery Publishing publicist Lauren McCue said.

She said Spicer has been in the news a lot the last couple of years and it was “a very odd time” for an accusation like this to be made.

  1. This is yet the latest tactic to destroy Republicans. Accuse them of anything racist. They saw how easy it was to destroy Rosanne. So now just accuse and let the smear grow legs and travel all over the internet to the lemmings that continue to be led by the nose.

  2. Sounds just like the Left trying to smear any and everybody because they have nothing to help the country except to Resist and bully, Sick and tired of Dems move on!

  3. He’s probably an unhappy liberal who wants to start trouble. As bad as they have been behaving and the hatred and anger being shown at Trump supporters, I don’t believe him. They will say or do anything to make a Trump supporter look bad. It’s a shame that their actions have caused me to become this way.

  4. Sean Spicer has spent his adult lifetime serving this country. It is a disgrace that those who have led far less noble lives, including those in this current administration, denigrate and insult him on a regular basis.

  5. A real shame that the left keeps doing this sort of garbage. It’s only making them look worse every time they pull this crap. It’s only going to get worse until they actions start having consequences and until individuals like Maxine Waters is labeled as the Domestic Terrorist that she is and that she is arrested for inciting violence. This *supposedly * happened when they were kids for crying out loud. What kid didn’t say and do things as a kid that they regret or don’t remember. We have all done things as kids that we would never do now and most of us have grown up (at least most of us on the right.. as for the left ..well, not so much by the actions that we’ve been seeing) and don’t exhibit the same childishness that we did as kids
