Porn star Stormy Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, ripped her former attorney Michael Avenatti after a jury found him guilty of extortion.

Daniels shared her thoughts on Avenatti in an Instagram post published on Friday. Earlier, news broke that a New York federal court jury had found Avenatti guilty of attempting to extort between $15 million and $22.5 million from the athletics gear company Nike.

The article goes on to state the following:

“Sadly, it appears that what Michael Avenatti did to me was just the tip of the iceberg of deceit,” Clifford said. “I am not surprised his dishonesty has been revealed on a grand scale.”

Clifford’s (Daniels’) statement continues, “His arrogant, fraudulent, and overly aggressive behavior became so pervasive that the jury found his true character. Although clearly a just result, I do feel sad for his children and foolish for believing his lies for so long.”

My statement on Michael Avenatti

Daniels then posted additional comments on Twitter:

One Twitter user complained, “your statement is harsh. perhaps he was dishonest and yes belongs in jail. but you had someone sticking up for you in a world where few lawyers would go to bat for you . this is really sad.”

Daniels responded, “Actually, I was VERY nice. I could have pointed out how he lied to me daily, forged my name, stole hundreds of thousands of dollars from me, threatened me, tried to control me and made a mess of most of my legal paperwork.”

Another Twitter user caller her out, writing, “You signed a nda and talked. You were rewarded by getting scammed by a conman. No one feels bad for you.”

Daniels replied, “The NDA that they broke first (five times to be exact) and then tried to bully me into lying? I chose to stand up for myself. I haven’t asked anyone to feel bad for me. Now sit down and have a juice box, little one.”

“He was spectacular when you “thought “ you were going to get millions 🙄,” another Twitter user responded to Daniels.

Daniels hit back, tweeting, “When was that? I never asked for money. I only wanted to be released from an illegal contract and speak my truth. I actually did 60 Minutes for free and turned down paid interviews because I wanted a clear conscience. Try again.”
