Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine, revealed Sunday there was a moment during the confirmation process for Judge Brett Kavanaugh in which she thought he would have to withdraw from the confirmation process to elevate him to the Supreme Court.

“I was certainly undecided and after hearing Christine Ford’s very compelling and painful testimony I thought, ‘Oh, my goodness, he perhaps needs to withdraw,'” Collins said during an interview with CNN’s “State of the Union.”
