President Donald J. Trump ordered all flags on public grounds to be flown at half-staff, including at the White House, embassies and military facilities, on the day of her internment “as a mark of respect for the memory of Barbara Bush.”
In his proclamation (see tweet below) Trump said Mrs. Bush was “an outstanding and memorable woman of character.”
