Report: Trump Wants to Sign in Nearly 200 Executive Orders

Fox News judicial analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano revealed Wednesday night that President-elect Donald Trump will sign in around 200 executive orders that will counteract a myriad of Obama administration policies.

In an interview with Fox News anchor Martha MacCallum, Napolitano claims that he held conversations with the president-elect regarding his first set of actions in the Oval Office. According to Napolitano, Trump will be signing hundreds of new policies on his third full day in office.

While Napolitano did not specify which policies in particular Trump would enact, he does hint as an example that Trump would target repealing “job killing” energy regulations. Other examples include “light” policies implemented by Obama on immigration and the deconstruction of ObamaCare.

It’s expected on Friday that Trump will sign at least four to five executive orders following his inauguration.

According to incoming White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer:

“He’s got a few of them, probably in the area of four to five, that we’re looking at on Friday. Some of it is logistical things that you have to do in terms of government operations. Then there are some other ones that I expect him to sign with regards to some other issues that have been on his priority list.”
