Two astronaut were rescued Thursday after their rocket failed following its launch from Russia.
NASA astronaut Nick Hague and Russia’s Alexei Ovchinin took off in the Soyuz MS-10 spacecraft from Kazakhstan at 4:40 a.m. Eastern on Thursday, NASA said in a statement.
The article goes on to state the following:
“Shortly after the launch, there was an anomaly with the booster and the launch ascent was aborted, resulting in a ballistic landing of the spacecraft,” NASA said.
Both men are in good condition after making the emergency landing in Russia.
