A Wednesday email from the White House’s 1600 Daily newsletter reported: “Quote of the day: The hoax that started it all.”

The email included commentary on the testimony of DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz, who sat before the Senate Judiciary Committee Wednesday to answer questions about his report on the origins of the Russia investigation.

Horowitz said the FBI was justified in opening the 2016 investigation into the Trump campaign, but he said there were major errors made during the investigation.

The email said, “Moment by moment, the truth about corruption in Washington is coming out.”

It went on to state:

“In a Senate hearing today, Michael Horowitz—Inspector General of the Justice Department—delivered a scathing blow to the narrative pushed by Democrats and their media allies about the FBI’s surveillance of the Trump campaign during the 2016 election.

“The Beltway media’s initial reaction to the report was predictable. Pundits cherry picked the parts they liked, while ignoring 17 separate falsehoods and omissions found across three surveillance applications used to justify the FBI monitoring a former Trump campaign adviser.

“Fortunately, the truth often finds a way of coming to light. In today’s hearing, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) asked the tough, obvious questions that most reporters didn’t.

“‘Former FBI Director James Comey said this week that your report vindicates him. Is that a fair assessment?’ Sen. Graham asked Horowitz.

“His reply: ‘I think the activities we found here don’t vindicate anybody who touched this.’”

DML NewsApp founder Dennis Michael Lynch said that the Russia investigation will ultimately hurt one leading Democrat more than it will hurt Trump.

“It’s all going to come back to Barack Obama.” Lynch said (see video below).

Lynch has said the Russia narrative was all part of a plan to impeach Trump. In their latest push to do that with the Ukraine call, Lynch said he believes Democrats’ have painted themselves into a bind. He contends that it will ultimately help Trump win the 2020 election.
