Darla Shine on Thursday deleted her Twitter account just one hour after Bill Shine was announced as the newest member of the Trump administration, Huffington Post reported.
Her social media feed, however, has been archived as far back as six years ago by Internet Archive Wayback Machine.
The White House did not immediately return The Hill’s request for comment.
Huff Post reported that Darla Shine last month attacked former Fox News host Gretchen Carlson in a tweet.
“I guess if you ignore the FACT that Gretchen would still be at FNC [Fox News Channel] if they hadn’t fired her for abysmal show ratings & how she kept kissing up to BILL & ROGER till the end!” Darla Shine’s tweet read of the former Fox News host who sued former Fox News Chairman Roger Ailes of sexual harassment and retaliation in 2016.

To Darla Shine – yes, it was indeed an “awkward hug” between me (then a 2d year reporter) & my then-boss, the CEO Ailes, especially when in his locked office he tried to make out w/me & then demanded to know when my contract was up after I shoved him off. https://t.co/7aqJjTk7DZ
