Reports of Hospital Shooter Cause Havoc

Reports flooded the news Tuesday afternoon of an active shooter situation at a Houston hospital, but no injuries have been reported, and no word has come out of anyone actually having been shot.

The incident was initially reported about 2:00 pm central time, when shots were reportedly fired on the second floor.  Supposed witnesses described the suspect as a white, bald male.

Hospital officials moved several patients outside, and the area was swarming with about 200 police officers, as they made a thorough search of the building, floor by floor.

The Houston police chief met with reporters shortly before 3:30 pm central time and said they have not yet located a shooter.  The search was announced completed at 4:00 p.m. and normal hospital operations were resumed.
