Numerous American Twitter users have reported receiving robocalls from former president Barack Obama and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton inciting them to “resist Trump.”

Actor Scott Baio was among the first to report large numbers of Twitter users claiming to have received the robotic phone calls, which were reportedly seeking to raise money for Democrats hoping to block President Trump’s new executive order on immigration, also referred to as the travel ban, and to hamper Republican efforts to repeal and replace Obamacare.

Twitter users also report receiving automated calls from Obama encouraging them to disrupt town hall meetings in congressional districts and to urge elected officials to reject Trump’s cabinet nominees.

Former Attorney General Loretta Lynch recorded her own call for resistance – and even violence – speaking of activists in the past who have marched, bled and died – and she said, “We can do this again.”

Hillary Clinton recorded her own video calling for resistance as well. “Let resistance, plus persistence, equal progress for our party,” she declares.
