In Vancouver, Washington, a graphic video shows a teen girl being put into a headlock by WinCo loss prevention employees after she allegedly stole some candy.
Angry customers are heard yelling in the background for the two large employees to let her go. The teen is seen with bloody and bruised knees, struggling to break free from the employee’s grip.
The incident began in the parking lot of WinCo but the loss prevention employees managed to drag her to the automatic doors, then inside the entryway.
The women recording the video, posted it to Facebook and sparked discussion as to whether or not the store employees handled the situation correctly or used excessive amounts of force. The video on Facebook alone has been viewed 11 million times.
