NEW YORK — In what seemed like something out of a movie, a group of GOP executives became stuck alongside the CEO of MyPillow in an elevator that malfunctioned at the Princeton Club Thursday night.

MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell found himself trapped in the compartment with RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel; Chele Chiavacci Farley, the New York Republican finance chair and expected challenger to Sen. Kristen Gillibrand; and longtime Trump campaigner Matt Rich for a little longer than any of them expected.

Lindell, who has built MyPillow into a multimillion-dollar company thanks to his ubiquitous TV ads, told Page Six, “We started going down in the elevator, then we kept going down. The inside doors opened, the elevator wouldn’t stop at any of the floors, and we could see the brick wall as we kept doing down. We descended to the last floor and then we went past it.”

He continued, “Then we hit the alarm button, and we were trapped for around 15 minutes, but we managed to make light of it. We took pictures and video. Finally, we were rescued by some elevator techs and were able to crawl out.”

McDaniel, we were told, remained “cucumber cool” during the entire ordeal.
