‘Rock star’ Morning Joe host releases ‘anthem’ for Women’s March (video)

Morning Joe co-host Joe Scarborough whipped out his ‘rock star’ singing skills Monday morning, as MSNBC played a new song he recently released, “Stand,” in honor or the Women’s March resistance group.

Scarborough had posted the song on his Twitter page Saturday, hundreds of thousands took to the streets in protest on the one-year anniversary of Trump’s presidency.

Monday’s version that aired on the “Morning Joe” program included scenes from the march.

Scarborough, who has been a staunch critic of Trump, announced last year that he was leaving the Republican Party. Now he’s putting his opposing views to music, and standing firmly with the women wearing the “pu**y hats.”
