Roger Stone’s Twitter account was suspended on Thursday after posting a threatening tweet to a Media Matters employee.

“I’m watching you and know what you’re up to. Better watch your ass,” Stone tweeted Wednesday to Media Matters’ communications director, Laura Allison Keiter.

BuzzFeed reported that Twitter confirmed via email Stone’s account had been suspended on Thursday morning.

“We have reviewed the account you reported and have locked it because we found it to be in violation of the Twitter Rules,” Twitter said in the email.

“If the account owner complies with our requested actions and stated policies, the account will be unlocked,” it added.

This marks the second rules violation for Stone. His first offense occurred this past March when he posted the tweet below, which also resulted in a suspension.

“Censorship brigade @Twitter shuts down @RogerJStoneJr’s account in blatant move to stymie free speech. Shameful!”
