Marco Rubio has just suspended his presidential campaign, after losing Florida, his home state, to Donald Trump.

“It is clear that while we are on the right side this year, we will not be on the winning side,” Rubio told supporters in Miami, adding: “My campaign is suspended.”

With 71% of the vote reported, Rubio has won 27.2% of the votes, compared to Trump’s 45.5%.  He has only received 10% or less in Illinois, Missouri, North Carolina and Ohio.

Meanwhile, John Kasich has won his home state of Ohio.
