According to new reports, Rhona Graff, President Trump’s longtime assistant and senior vice president of the Trump Organization, will be interviewed by members of the House Intelligence Committee on Friday.

Graff’s interview will take place at an unknown location in New York rather than the Capitol in Washington. It’s also been reported that only a “handful” of lawmakers will take part in the interview, rather than the full committee.

Before departing Washington for the holidays Thursday, House Democrats on the committee expressed concerns about the direction of the probe under the direction of House Republicans.

Representative Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), the committee’s ranking Democrat, believes Republicans on the committee are attempting to end the probe early. In an interview, Schiff accused Chairman Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) of “doing the work of the White House.”

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) expressed her concerns about the probe under Republican leadership, as well, on Thursday, writing in a letter addressed to Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.): “Political haste must not cut short valid investigatory threads. Key questions about foreign interference in our elections remain, and must be thoroughly investigated.”

Ryan’s spokeswoman, AshLee Strong, issued a statement earlier this year that the probe would continue:

“The House Permanent Select Committee on Investigation is conducting a thorough and professional investigation into Russian meddling and is following the facts wherever they may lead.”
