Ryan tells Trump they don’t have the votes — Trump says “Pull the bill”

UPDATE: Paul Ryan will hold a press conference shortly after 4pm ET.  He will tell America that the vote on his and President Trump’s healthcare bill has been cancelled.  Watch live:

Major news sources are reporting that GOP sources claim House Speaker Paul Ryan told President Donald Trump that Republicans could not get the votes to pass the GOP health care bill. The American Health Care Act was Ryan’s effort to repeal and replace Obama’s Affordable Care Act.

In advance of the vote Friday afternoon, sources told CNN that Ryan presented the numbers to Trump and asked for his guidance.

Conservative efforts to whip votes on Capitol Hill to sway members have not stopped, but now it seems things are moving in the wrong direction. As the feeling spread that the bill is doomed, it’s believed that undecideds have fled.

Fox News is reporting that the vote scheduled for 3:30 has been cancelled per President Trump’s request.

This is a developing story.  A press conference is set for 4pm ET.
