During his campaign, nothing seemed to be more energizing to Donald Trump than large crowds chanting, “USA, USA, USA.”
Thus, with his presidency hitting some rough bumps in its first few weeks, and after some hard-hitting battles with the press and massive protests fueled by anti-Trump rhetoric, President Trump is back on the road to fire up the American people.
On Saturday, President Trump will hold what has been called a “campaign-style” rally in Melbourne, Florida, to an expected sold-out crowd of over 30,000.
Although many presidents have taken to the road to speak to the public on occasion, President Trump’s show has one glaring difference. The president has no major agenda or specific cause to push — he simply wants to speak to the American people.
Trump even advertised his rally at Thursday’s White House press conference by bringing up the time and place. The president said, “I’ll be in Melbourne, Florida five o’clock on Saturday and I heard, just heard, that the crowds are massive that want to be there.”
